I stayed home and watched the inauguration speech yesterday. I felt like I needed to see it live. What an unusual thing! I usually watch everything after the fact, so that I can speed through commercials and other unwanted drivel. Yet here was a moment I wanted to share with the world at the same time as the world. It was great! What a fantastic acceptance speech. What a bright future - If we all can just hold on and have faith. I want it to be true and maybe that's what you would call blissful naivety. The fact that I do not understand exactly how our new government will save us, gives me hope that they can. Our current national debt. is 10,632,836,925,874.55 There is estimated to be about 307,507,769 Americans. This means that we each owe about 34,803.82 Well, money is kind of tight for me right now - I'd like to help. This blog entry is my effort.
